Top Recipes of 2015. Get Your Yum On.

Apparently I cooked a lot in 2015. When you write what you know and/or love I really feel your passion shines through and that makes your subject matter more interesting to those reading it. I definitely have a passion for cooking so it only makes sense that I’ve been focused on it in more and more. I love sharing some of my family’s favourite dishes and I love finding new ones to explore from other bloggers as well.

If you are looking for a great resource to find amazing recipes from bloggers, or a place to share yours you really need to check out Yummly. Since I came across it last year it has become my absolute favourite place for finding and sharing recipes. And the great thing is it’s incredibly easy to use. If you are looking for a recipe just head over to the Yummly site and you can either browse the lastest submissions or use the search box if you are looking for something specific. Once you find your recipe you of course can head directly to the blog that shared the recipe of you can add it to your recipe box to come back to later. You can also organize your recipe box into whatever categories make sense to you.

If you’re a blogger sharing your recipes on Yummy site or you’re not a blogger but want to add recipes you’ve found on the internet to your recipe box that’s also a breeze. I highly recommend you grab the Yummly Bookmarlet, it just takes a second and it simply gets added to your browsers tool bar so you can yum quickly and easy. You can get the bookmarklet and instructions here. Also, for bloggers you can add a Yummly button directly on your blog by adding it directly, via the Yummly recipe plugin, or via social sharing plugins like AddToAny, Shareaholic, or Simple Share buttons. You will find my  Yummly button at the bottom of all my posts in the Shareaholic bar.

I always find it interesting to look back over the year and see which posts resonated the most with my readers or which terms they searched the most that brought them here. So I thought I’d share with you the top 5 recipes, in terms of traffic, that were looked at on Mommy Outside in 2015.
