Mini Eggnot Donuts Recipe

Ingredients
Donuts
  • ½ cup of eggnog
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp of vanilla
  • 3 tablespoons of oil
  • ¼ cup of white sugar
  • ½ tsp of salt
  • 3.4 tsp of baking powder
  • 1 cup of flour
Glaze
  • ½ cup of icing sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of eggnog
Topping
  • ¼ cup of white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325.
  2. Spray your donut pan with cooking spray.
  3. In a medium bowl mix together the eggnog, egg, vanilla, oil and sugar.
  4. Mix in the salt, baking powder and flour until just combined.
  5. Fill the cavities in your donut pan half full. I find piping the batter in is the easiest.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. While the donuts are baking make your glaze by mixing together the eggnog and icing sugar. If it mixture is too thick add a bit more eggnog.
  8. In a separate bowl mix together the sugar and cinnamon.
  9. While the donuts are still warm, dip one side into the glaze and the immediately into the sugar cinnamon mixture.
  10. Set on a wire rack to cool and let the glaze set.
