I remember well the days of packing up to go out with the baby. It was no small chore. Diapers, wipes, a change of clothes, bottles, snacks (for the older babies) and, of course, something to keep her entertained. I’ll be honest, there were times it just seemed easier to stay at home. But there were groceries to buy, doctor’s appointments to go to and sometimes you just need to get out of the house.
As tedious as it seemed at times, it really wasn’t that bad. I loved taking my little one out to show off and to explore the world with her. She took her first flight at about 4 months old and has already done more travelling than I did by the time I was an adult.
Everyone has their tips and tricks about travelling and taking little ones out. Whether it’s just out to a local restaurant or on a five-hour plane ride, there are always ways to make things go smoothly. Besides, ensuring they are well rested and fed, my biggest tip is to give them lots of opportunity to play.
I think we all understand the importance of play; it is such an essential part of a child’s development. It helps them learn hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills- and playing together is such a great way to bond with your little one. Playskool’s Play-Stow-Go toys make playing easy and fun anywhere, at any time.
What makes Playskool’s Play-Stow-Go toys the perfect travel companions? Well, let’s start with the fact that they are created with portability in mind. They are small, light weight and easy to store in a diaper bag, stroller and some even fit right in your pocket. They are so easy to just grab and go. They are also bright, colourful and made by a brand that kids love and parents trust.
What’s also great about this line is that they have toys for kids as young as 3 months, like the adorable Fold ‘N Go Busy Elephant as well as toys for the older toddlers like the Dress Kids Girl or Boy.
I know that my daughter would have adored these toys when she was that age. They would be perfect to throw in a carry-on to have on the plane or in the diaper bag to take to Grandma’s house.
No matter how hectic life can get, it’s so important to take the time to stop and play. And with toys that are so easy to take a long, there’s just no reason not to. You can check out the complete line of Play-Stow-Go toys on the Playskool website.
