Last month I posted my Pork and Apple Teriyaki Stir Fry recipe and talked a little about how much we love stir fry in our home. I have a new, and awesome stir fry recipe to share with you this month that uses some ingredients you may not have thought about adding to a stir fry. I had some really nice ham sausage I wanted to cook the other night and thought I would try something a little different with it. I rooted around in the fridge a bit to see what else I had on hand and found some nice red potatoes and it all just came together from there. I knew the Blue Dragon Szechuan Pepper Stir Fry Sauce would go perfectly and really add a punch to the mild sausage and starchy potatoes.
- 1 coil of fully cooked ham or other mild sausage sliced into bite sized pieces
- 1 tablespoon of olive or vegetable oil
- 2 red potatoes sliced very thinly
- 1 sweet pepper cut into strips
- ½ onion cut into large chunks
- ½ cup of cherry tomatoes cut in half
- 1 package of Blue Dragon Szechuan Pepper Stir Fry Sauce
- Heat the oil in a large fry pan over medium high heat.
- Add the potato slices and stir fry until the potatoes just start to get brown and crisp.
- Add the onions, peppers and sausage and stir fry for another 2 minutes.
- Add the cherry tomatoes and the stir fry sauce and stir fry for 2 more minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve.
My kids love everything that you put in that stir fry and I love how Blue Dragon ties it all together. Thanks for the reminder that sometimes the best meals just come together and aren't planned.
Besos Sarah.
