On September 16th the Canadian Food Inspection Agency issued its first of what would turn out to be many alerts about ground beef that may potentially contain E. coli.
It’s important to note that no illnesses have been reported in connection with this voluntary recall.
The recall involves a rather large and expanding list of products, all of which were available for sale between August 24th and September 16th at various retailers, and under various brand names, throughout the country.
